Shame on those who wilfully destroy public & private property.
Shame on those who disregard our country, Canada.
Shame on those who think they will be heard by these acts.
Shame on those who turned Toronto into a war zone.
Shame on you, shame on us.
Until today, I was proud to call myself a Canadian.
Today, I hang my head and cry.
My sincerest apologies to all who see these horrible demonstrations of violence and to what end....

Oh Hunny, you cannot be held accountable for the thoughtless actions of others... you can only teach by example those hearts and souls that you have contact with on a personal level... but I do understand where you are coming from... every time BP cock up another attempt I shrink a little more as an patriotic person... even though BP isn't really British anymore! lol
I haven't heard anything on the news over here about it though....
big hugs
Alex

I know!! They are screaming at the wasted money on security and defenses, but they don't seem to realize (or even care!!!) that THEY ARE THE REASON for the money spent!
Stupid protesters.
I am so sad and disgusted by the actions of these people. It's difficult to see the film clips and realize that it's here, in Canada, in the city where two of my sons and their families live! That is not the Toronto I know. Not Canada. But it is.
I concur with all of you.
Karen, you hit the nail on the head!
Samm, I know how you feel. I kept thinking of Karen and her husband in Mississauga and kept hoping that it was far enough away.
Alex, all we can do is try, but in the end, these people need to learn that causing this kind of violence will never bring any good.
